Who we are

This website is run by Inspiration Is Everywhere / Root to Rise Recovery Cafe, a nonprofit serving Falmouth & Mashpee, MA and Nashua, NH. Contact: roottorisema@gmail.com, 603-721-2088.

What we collect

Without an account: nothing personal. The benefits checker runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us or to anyone else, and we run no analytics on them. By default they disappear when you close the page. If you tick “Remember my answers on this device,” they are kept only in your own browser (localStorage) until you untick it or press “Clear my answers.”
With an account (optional): your email address and password (handled by our secure login provider, Supabase), any profile details you choose to add, your notification choice, and checker answers only if you tick the separate “Save my answers” box (never pre-checked).

Health and recovery information

Some checker questions (like being in recovery, pregnancy, disability, or Medicare) are health information. Even when you choose to save your answers, health-related answers are left out unless you tick a second, separate box giving permission to save them too. We use saved answers only to show you programs and offers you may qualify for. You can delete any saved answers, or all of them at once, in My account. We never sell this information and never share it for marketing or advertising. Staff access is limited to what is needed to run the service.

Offer notifications

You will only hear from us about offers if you check the box to opt in. The box is never pre-checked. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click using the link in any message or on our unsubscribe page, or from My account. Partners never receive your contact or health details; we tell you about the offer and you decide whether to contact them.

No tracking

This site uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and no third-party cookies. If accounts are turned on, our login provider stores a session token in your browser so you stay signed in.

Security and your rights

Account data is protected with row-level security so each person can see only their own records. You can view, change, or delete your saved answers in My account, and you may ask us to delete your account entirely by emailing roottorisema@gmail.com.

Children

This site is intended for adults 18 and older.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. We will never start selling or sharing health information for marketing.
